About the Founder
Passages Therapy and Counseling, PLLC was established in 2020 during the height of the pandemic—a time when uncertainty, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm became part of daily life for many people. Seeing the growing need for accessible mental health support within the community, I founded Passages with a commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care to those navigating life’s challenges.
With more than a decade of experience as a clinical social worker, I have learned that everyone can benefit from support, guidance, and a safe space to heal and grow. Whether you are struggling with life transitions, workplace stress, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, or the effects of trauma, my goal is to provide personalized care that meets you where you are.
I recognize that reaching out for help—and simply walking through the office door—can be one of the hardest steps a person takes. I honor the courage, vulnerability, and commitment it takes to show up for yourself, and I strive to create a welcoming environment where healing feels possible.
I work with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, utilizing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each person’s unique needs and goals. I am EMDRIA-certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and specialize in trauma-focused therapy for both adults and children.
In addition to my clinical work, I facilitate The Pause at Elkins: A Mid-Life Women’s Social Society, a monthly gathering and growing online community for women who are finished merely surviving and ready to become. Through in-person connection, Facebook, and Instagram, The Pause provides opportunities for support, reflection, growth, and meaningful community.
At Passages Therapy and Counseling, I believe healing happens through connection, compassion, and the courage to take the next step forward.
